ABOUT DAVID T. HAUSSLER
Born in 1955, David Haussler is a diversely talented artist/sculptor who received a Masters of Art in 1980 from Bradley University in Illinois. David’s history covers more than 30 years of commissions, gallery and museum shows, television appearances and a children’s book featuring David the sculptor. David is the founder of Long Island Professional Sculptors & Supporters. LIPSS is a grass roots organization dedicated to developing sculpture awareness throughout Long Island by expanding show spaces for sculptors, advocating public art projects, developing alternative show sites and making sure public art projects are executed by qualified artists. In 1983 David started his own company, “HAUSSLER’S KITCHEN CABINET REFINISHERS, LLC”, which refinished kitchen cabinets in Suffolk County. More than twenty five years later, David’s company is still committed to the utmost in customer satisfaction. David is smart, honest, hardworking and he has an eye for detail. These attributes have enabled him to establish a sound reputation and continued company growth. Today his company refinishes, refaces, designs and installs new kitchens, baths, woodworking as well as furniture restoration.
